Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about lawn care and landscaping in North Georgia.
- What areas do you serve?
- We serve Cartersville, Acworth, Kennesaw and Marietta, plus the surrounding neighborhoods of Bartow County and Cobb County, Georgia. If you are just outside those lines, call us; we sometimes add a nearby street to an existing route.
- How much does weekly lawn mowing cost?
- Most residential lawns in our area fall between $45 and $85 per visit depending on lawn size, slope and access. We give a fixed price after a quick look at your property, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
- Do I have to sign a contract?
- No long-term contract is required for routine mowing. We ask for a simple start date and let you pause or cancel any time. Seasonal programs such as aeration and overseeding are scheduled and priced per visit.
- What grass types do you work with?
- North Georgia sits in the transition zone, so we see both warm-season turf (Bermuda, Zoysia, Centipede) and cool-season fescue. They need very different care and different calendars, so we plan each lawn around the grass it actually has.
- When should I aerate and overseed my lawn?
- For fescue lawns, early September to mid-October is the sweet spot. Warm-season lawns such as Bermuda and Zoysia are aerated in late spring to early summer instead and are not overseeded with fescue.
- Can you do anything about Georgia red clay?
- Yes. Core aeration, topdressing with compost and the right mulch and bed preparation all improve drainage and root depth in compacted clay. It is a multi-season process, and we will tell you honestly what to expect.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- We carry general liability insurance and can send a certificate on request. Licensing details will be added here once finalized.
- How do I pay?
- After each visit or at the end of the month, depending on your plan, we send an invoice by email or text with a secure link to pay by card. We also accept check and cash.
- What happens if it rains on my mowing day?
- We move your visit to the next dry day and let you know. Wet clay and heavy mowers do not mix, and cutting soaked grass damages your lawn.
- Do you text me? Can I opt out?
- Only if you opt in. If you check the optional text-message box on our quote form we may text appointment reminders and invoice links. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. See our SMS Terms for details.
